Including AK-47, AK-74, MAK-90, Maadi, Romanian WUM1& AK-47V, Bulgarian SA-93 & SLR-95, Hungarian SA-85, Valmet, Galil, Plus All SKS Variants. IMPORTANT NOTE: Current production Romanian AK's (Romarm S.A. / Cugir) imports have inconsistent dimensions in the spacing of the rear solid wire interlocking loop that may not be compatible with our Item 77011. If your rifle specimen has a space larger than 7 mm, please do not order, or inquire as to the availability of a new, unissued, moly-plated Mil-Spec Hungarian replacement bolt carrier recoil assembly that utilizes our Item 77010. INTERESTING FACTOID: The vast majority of Full-Auto AK-47's "recovered" from Iraqi "Insurgents" by our U.S. Forces were manufactured in the same remote mountain village factory in Romania. The village is only accessible by a narrow gauge railroad, and still has the machinery under tarps that produced the Mauser K-98's under wartime during Nazi occupation in WW II.
At Sprinco we have developed an amazing energy absorbing material that can give you a tremendous reduction in the recoil vibration you feel when you fire your rifle. A tiny precision formed piece of this very special polymer can make your rifle shoot better and last longer. Other recoil buffers have solved the problem of the AK and SKS bolt carrier slamming into the back of the receiver. Our product protects your action, but in addition it also gives you the reduction in recoil that you will feel the first time you fire it. Your AK or SKS is a wonderful, unbreakable, reliable rifle, but has always been known for sharp recoil. The WONDER BUFF solves this problem by placing a tiny low-histeresis polymer shock absorber at just the right place to absorb this recoil before it reaches your action or your shoulder.
A: THE PRECISION ENGINEERED POLYMER IN THE WONDER BUFF ABSORBS 4 TIMES THE ENERGY ABSORBED BY COMPETING RECOIL BUFFERS.
A: THE WONDER BUFF IS VIRTUALLY IMPERVIOUS TO WEAR. WE HAVE TORTURED THEM WITH 10,000 ROUNDS WITH NO DETERIORATION IN FUNCTION OR SHOCK ABSORPTION OTHER MATERIALS WE TESTED WERE DETERIORATED AFTER ONLY A FEW ROUNDS.
A: ONE TYPE REQUIRES ONLY THE REMOVAL OF THE RECEIVER COVER, THE OTHER TYPE SIMPLY REQUIRES YOU TO REMOVE THE RECOIL SPRING ASSEMBLY, SPREAD THE SPRING, INSERT THE BUFFER, AND REINSTALL THE ASSEMBLY. COMPLETE, SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED.
A: THERE ARE TWO BASIC TYPES OF RECOIL ASSEMBLIES USED IN AK-TYPE RIFLES. ONE TYPE USES TWO SOLID TUBES THAT TELESCOPE INTO EACH OTHER. THIS TYPE TAKES THE MODEL 77010 BUFFER. THE SECOND TYPE USES "U" SHAPED ASSEMBLIES THAT COLLAPSE INTO EACH OTHER, THE INNER ONE USUALLY SOLID, AND THE OTHER EITHER SOLID OR OF TWISTED WIRE.
